Sons of the Forest: How to find the shovel

As you make your way in Sons of the Forest, a first-person survival game currently in Early Access on Steam, you’ll realize that you need a shovel to move on in the story and uncover bunkers hidden around the map. Similar to the other important items Sons of the Forest, the shovel can be found in the game’s intricate cave system.

• Rebreather
• Tank Air

You’ll need a weapon to defend yourself from the enemies inside the cave, so prepare yourself before entering and be ready to take on multiple foes.

How to Get the Shovel from Sons of the Forest

1. Continue to the cave. The snowy mountains are westThe map’s center is located. Three streams will intersect at this point with three bodies beyond the entrance. We recommend creating a tent outside of the cave’s entrance in case anything goes wrong inside.
2. Go into the cave, and then use the rope gun. Ride the zipline to the cave.
3. You can see water to your left. Get ready to jump. Equipping your rebreather.
4. To find an opening in cave’s floor, dive down. Continue following the tunnel underwaterContinue until you find an opening.
5. Get out of the water, and get back in your car. Forward through the caveYou will eventually reach an area of the cave where there is an incline and running water.
6. You can slide down this slope and land in a swimming pool. RightYou can climb up onto the cave floor.
7. Please enter the following information. Continue through the cave systemYou can’t enter another room unless you have two dead people inside.
8. To find another entrance, keep to your right. This will take you to another large cave. The body of one of these bodies will be dead. Flashlight attachment, so make sure to grab that while you’re here.
9. Go to the rear of the cavern. Follow the pathContinue on until you find another section of cave underwater.
10. Swim forward Through the underground tunnelUntil you reach the other side.
