Sons Of The Forest Delayed ‘One Last Time’ To Early 2023

The Forest by Endnight Games quickly became my favorite co-op experience almost two years after it was launched. My excitement levels reached an all time high when I saw more Sons of the Forest footage in the next year (2021). Unfortunately, the sequel was delayed yet again. However, developers seem to be confident about the survival horror game’s release in early 2023.  

The Endnight Games tweet (see above) states that in the recent months it has been difficult to determine a drop date. However, the increased scope of the game led to the hard decision by the team:

Due to the sheer size of Sons Of The Forest’s new game, it was difficult to determine a release date. Today, we must delay.

To give us enough time to polish the products we think are necessary, we’ll release February 23rd 2023 priced at $29.99 USD.”

Sons of the Forest looks like the most ambitious game the studio has ever made. It features a large open world with an AI companion and updated visuals. There are multiple factions fighting for control of the land. This game looks even more terrifying and brutal than its predecessor, so I’m eager to play it. 

Sons of the Forest is coming to our screens in February 2003, on PC.
