Sonic Costumes Return To Fall Guys In New Event Starting This Week

Sonic the Hedgehog’s franchise turned 30 last year. But the party isn’t over. We already knew additional Sonic-themed costumes were planned for Fall Guys this month, but developer Mediatonic this morning announced the details of the collaboration event with Sega’s iconic brand. It celebrates Sonic the Hedgehog’s more than 30 year history and will feature a Sonic-themed level, new outfits and new levels. 

It is called the “Bean Hill Zone” level and requires that Fall Guys collect as many rings to be eligible for special rewards. A “Bean Hill Zone” nameplate is awarded to players who have 200 points. You can earn 400 points to get 200 Kudos and 600 points to receive a Bonus Rings pattern outfit. 800 points gets you 400 Kudos. 1,000 points grants you Sonic’s famous sneakers.

You can also get other rewards during the event. During the event, you can find new costumes for Sonic and Tails as well as Super Sonic, Knuckles, Super Sonic, Dr. Robotnik, Super Sonic, Knuckles, Super Sonic and Super Sonic. The Sonic Foot Tap Emote can be purchased as well.

Sonic is not the first to wear this costume in Fall Guys. This Sonic costume was available for purchase in 2020. The Fall Guys special featuring Sonic the Hedgehog starts on Thursday August 11th and continues until Monday August 15.

The original Fall Guys game was launched in 2020 on PlayStation 4 (PC) and PC. It quickly became a hit as an entertaining gameshow-style battle royale title. Epic Games bought Fall Guys developer Mediatonic. Fall Guys, which was previously a premium game, became a free to play model in the summer of 2021. It launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
