Sniper Elite 5 – Season Two Available Today and Includes New Campaign Mission, Free Content, and More

Rebellion’s entire team is hard at work creating a variety of content. Sniper Elite 5Season Pass Two now available! It brings new skins, weaponry, and missions. Rough Landing is the first drop and comes with an amazing new mission as well as two powerful additions to your weaponry arsenal.

The new Rough Landing mission was developed in collaboration with Flix Interactive. It takes you into the woods after a number of Allied airmen were shot down. Now, Nazi forces are hunting them. These airmen are a treasure trove of valuable intelligence and must be protected from enemy hands. It’s down to you to find the crash sites and discover where the airmen are holding up.

You can play the map in either single or co-op. There are many challenges to overcome, including thick forests, large villages, mine shafts and huge railway bridges. The map offers plenty of opportunities for close combat so you will likely need more firepower.

You will also receive two brilliant new guns as part of the Rough Landing pack: the Mosin-Nagant rifle and Sjögren shotgun. Lloyd Everson is a Senior Designer with Flix Interactive. He has given me some insights into the new firepower.

“A famously powerful and reliable Russian rifle, the Mosin-Nagant has seen frequent use from its development in the 19th century to modern times, with the M91/30 the most prolific variant. It has excellent stopping power, thanks to its 7.62mm Russian rounds, and offers great stability, making it an excellent choice for long range sniping.”

“The Sjögren 12G Swedish Inertia was one of the world’s first semi-automatic shotguns. The unique, inertia operated system is preserved in many modern shotguns more than 80 years after its invention. This system gives the weapon’s recoil a distinctive feel, which can be controlled to deliver accurate shots at a reasonable rate of fire.”

Available now, the Rough Landing Mission and Weapons packs are available as an individual or part of Season Pass Two. More content will launch in the coming weeks. We are offering a variety of weapons for all players, including Rough Landing. As part of our latest title update, everyone will get the Trench Warfare weapons pack. The Trench Warfare Weapons Pack includes the Trench Gun, Double 1866 and Carl Gustav M/1945 SMG. It is ideal for close-quarters combat.

Carl Gustav M/1945 is better known by its common name, the Swedish K. This sub-machine gun was created using features taken from World War II weapons to make it reliable. The Gustav can fire 600 rounds per minute and is very accurate in single shots. It also has great control over continuous fire.

US Forces first utilized the Trench gun during World Wars I & II as a powerful, pump-action shotgun. It is fed with 12-gauge shells via its 6-round tube magazine. This allows it to fire at extreme close quarters while sacrificing range and fire rate.

The Double 1866, a pocket pistol with a double barrel that is concealable and can be pulled at high speed, was created in 19th century. Despite only featuring a single-action trigger, and producing a very low muzzle velocity, the D.1866’s unique traits make it a powerful close-range weapon.

Slide down steep slopes, use ziplines and slide along ledges for the best vantage point or sneaking past an attentive eye. While aiming your sights at the target, you should consider rifle stock options and barrel options as well gravity, wind, and heart rate.

HIGH CALIBRE CUSTOMISATION
Use workbenches to customise and upgrade virtually every aspect of your weapon – change scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines and more. There are many options for pistols, secondaries, and rifles. Aside from the many options, you have the ability to choose ammo that best suits your target. This includes armourpiercing as well as non-lethal.

INVASION MODE – CAMPAIGN DROP IN PvP AND CO-OP
Invade another player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, providing a new dimension to the challenge as you stalk your prey. As Karl, you have the option to call for assistance so that a second sniper can help you get out of trouble.

TENSE ADVERSIAL MULTIPLAYER
You can customize your character, loadout, and get XP. Then you will take part in intense 16-player battles that will test your shooting skills. If co-op’s more your style, you can team up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies in Survival mode.

ENHANCED KILL CAMERAS
The X-ray kill camera returns to show you how destructive each shot is, making it more realistic than ever. Bones can deflect bullets in unpredictable ways, cutting a new path through enemies bodies. Guns as well as SMGs are capable of triggering kill cams. These include multiple shots in slow-motion dramatic effect.
