Sims 4 voters will choose new kit: Rainbow Core or Goth Fashion?

Two new Sims content packs are on the way — and once again, the choice of just what gets added to Sims 4, The Sims It’s in their hands. Both kits are fashion-based, with new items of clothing, and the second kit adds new Build and Buy mode.

Fashion kit candidates are Rainbow Core Style (which is a playful and youthful style) and Goth Fashion. The latter focuses more on dark and dramatic styles. (Not to sway anyone, but I’m voting Goth Fashion, because my Sim family is full of dramatic vampires who really commit to their aesthetics).

The build mode kit options also represent a fun dichotomy: Medieval Castle, which is — as one would expect — all about the past, and High Tech Futurism, which is gonna be sleek and glowing and almost alien-like. Vote with your hearts. (I don’t have a preference.

The Sims DLC is divided into Kits, which are usually the smaller options. The Expansion Packs like City Living and Get Famous add new, major features, whereas Game Packs enhance the existing ones. Stuff Packs… introduce… stuffBut more stuff than the tiny kit. The Sims 4 kits, which are usually $4.99, offer the lowest price of all the DLC.

EA invites its fans to cast their votes on the upcoming packs of The Sims. For example, they may ask them to choose a certain aesthetic for the Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack. Or to decide what content will be included in different packs and kits. The voting link is open through May 21st at 7pm PST.
