Serial podcast gets new episode as Adnan Syed’s conviction is overturned

Adnan Syed is the host of the original season of this popular podcast. SerialAfter a Monday hearing, a judge revoked his conviction and released him from jail. The podcast returned to the subject of Syed’s case in a special one-off episode released on Tuesday.

Syed was charged with the murder of Hae Min Lee, his ex-girlfriend. Syed was convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee in 1999 and sentenced in 2000 to life imprisonment.
