The unveiling Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s final DLC fighter — it’s Sora from Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts series, in case you missed it — Nintendo revealed the most crucial detail: what Kirby will look like when he assumes Sora’s form.
Nintendo Versus’ Twitter account revealed that Kirby, as Sora, had beautiful anime RPG hair and a magical keyblade to intimidate his enemies (seemingly in Firaga and Thundaga forms). Kirby appears to be a different character than Mario. It is true keyblade wielder.
It’s both heartwarming to see Kirby as the star of Kingdom Hearts, but likewise bittersweet to realize that we won’t get any more Smash Bros. forms for the lovable pink puff for the foreseeable future. Sora is Super Smash Bros.Ultimate’s last remaining DLC character, after all.
Sora Kirby will be available to Smash fans on October 18, when Nintendo will launch Challenger Pack 11. This pack will include Sora and the Hollow Bastion stage as well as nine Kingdom Hearts songs. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
