Second Wave is a captivating blend of MOBA-style strategy and pulse-pounding FPS/TPS action, and it’s absolutely free to play!
You and your team will engage in intense battles with a variety of game modes, including Domination, Three-Way, and Stonegrab, where you capture or defend arcane stones, and you’ll do so with a cast of unique and charming characters, each with their own incredible abilities and fascinating stories waiting to be discovered.
Whether you’re a fan of the tough-as-nails tank, the fearless warrior, the cunning ranged dealer, the mystical mage, the stealthy assassin, or the ever-reliable support, we have the perfect character to suit your style.
What do you like better, the precise precision of the first person view or the tactical advantages of the third? You can choose, and the decision you make could be critical to your victory.
Get ready for fast-paced, stylish action like you’ve never seen before. There will be battles that are fierce and strategies that will make you think. But the excitement of a victory is sweet.
Second Wave still is under development, and this beta test is an integral part of development. This may affect your gaming experience. Remember that the beta version does not reflect the final product. The game can be unstable at times, or even crash, due to us testing our infrastructure’s capabilities. Occasionally, you may experience disconnections or slow matchmaking. Your progress will not be transferred into the final product as this is only a small part of the overall game.

What to do:
- X console.|X console and Xbox Insider Hub is now available app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).
- Navigation to the site Previews > Second Wave Preview
- Select You can Join Us
- You will then be directed to the Store for installation.
The Playtest Time:
Start time: 5th October, 12:00 AM GMT (12 p.m. PT)
The deadline for this contest is October 15, 5:00 pm PT (12:01 AM GMT).
What to do when you receive feedback?
If you experience any issues while playing the Second Wave Preview, don’t forget to use “Report a problem” so we can investigate:
- Keep the Xbox home button pressed.
- Select Report a problem.
- Choose the Play the Game category and The Second Wave of the Pre-Order subcategory.
