Sea Of Thieves: Season 6 Trailer Showcases Mini-Raid Sea Forts, New Pirate Legend Voyages, And More

Sea of Thieves’ Season 6 is scheduled to start on March 10. Rare Games has shared a preview trailer of what awaits pirates in the content. 

Season 6 features six Sea Forts in the Sea of Thieves. Described by the team as a new “mini-raid” experience, these Sea Forts can be attacked and plundered at any time by yourself or a full crew. Regardless of who’s sailing with you, Rare says the Sea Forts can be completed, so if you’re a solo player, there’s no need to worry that you won’t be able to loot everything within a Sea Forts’ walls. 

The forts are much larger than the Sea of Thieves forts, as you can see from the trailer. Rare states that forts can bring people together while Sea Forts provide an individual challenge. 

The addition of Pirate Legend Voyages to Season 6 adds another feature. These legends can be replayed and will require you to uncover treasure using new maps and plundering ships graveyards. Rare released an 2022 timeline, which details the events in Season 6 as well Season 7, 8 and 9, to guide players throughout 2022.
