SDCC 22: MultiVersus adding LeBron, Rick, and Morty to roster
The roster for Warner Bros. Games’ Super Smash Bros.-like MultiVersusThe number of fighters is on the rise. Developer Player First Games announced the next round of platform fighters at San Diego Comic-Con: LeBron James, NBA All-Star. Space Jam: A New LegacyRick Sanchez and MortySmith Rick and Morty.
LeBron will be included to the MultiVersusDevelopers said open beta will be available next week. Rick and Morty are coming soon. The stars of Adult Swim’s cartoon series will be separate characters.
MultiVersus brings together Batman, Superman, Arya Stark, Tom and Jerry, and Scooby-Doo’s Ultra Instinct Shaggy for chaos. It looks very much like a Superman costume. Super Smash Bros. UltimateAnd Nickelodeon All-Star BrawlIts franchise-spanning cast is complemented by platform fighting. MultiVersusThe game can be played for free and is focused on 2v2 fighting.
So far, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman and Batman have been confirmed. A number of these characters are also being voiced by the same voice actors as before, including Tara Strong playing Harley Quinn, and Maisie Wilkins as Arya Sternk.
MultiVersus is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with full cross-play support and “dedicated server-based rollback netcode and content-filled seasons,” according to the developer. Open beta will launch on July 26, with the game currently in beta.
