SDCC 2022: The Dragon Prince panel reveals a time skip for season 4

It has been three years since the last update. The Dragon PrinceWith the fourth season, Netflix will finally bring back The Simpsons with its fourth season. San Diego Comic-Con revealed more details regarding the next season of Netflix’s animated series.

The new saga will be called “Mystery of Aaravos,” referring to the enigmatic (and handsome) Startouch elf who was advising Big Bad Viren throughout the show’s first three seasons. The show also has a time skip, and it picks up 2 years after the Battle of the Storm Spire. Art reflects life. This footage appears to show the beginning scenes of the upcoming season.

Claudia, a dark mage, has spent two years trying to resurrect her father while also listening to Aaravos’ advice. Aaravos has been held captive in strange chrysalis jail since last season. Meanwhile, Prince Callum is now High Mage Callum — except he’s not really one for formalities.

What we don’t see in the footage is the fact that Callum’s little brother Ezran has now fully stepped into his role as king, baby dragon Zym is no longer a baby dragon, and Moonshadow elf assassin Rayla has parted ways from the humans in search of Viren. The new season (subtitled “Book Four: Earth”) will also introduce the Earthblood elves for the first time. The season’s focus will be on Claudia trying to save Aaravos so she can help her father. Meanwhile, the other characters are working to stop Startouch Elf from achieving his full potential.

The Dragon Prince’s most recent season arrived on Netflix in 2019. Around that time, one of the series’ creators, Aaron Ehasz, was accused by several women of creating a hostile working environment at Wonderstorm, the animation studio that produces The Dragon Prince.

Season 4 The Dragon PrinceNetflix is expected to release it this November.
