Ruffy And The Riverside Lets You Change The World By Rearranging Textures

Ruffy and The Riverside is a classic 3D game that lets you play with the worlds in a creative way. The open-world game allows players to customize the world by removing textures and applying them to other items.

As Ruffy, you’re the chosen one with the power of Swap. This means that you can combine and mix elements from the world to your liking. Want to climb a mountain up? Rip that patch of vines off a wall and slap it over a waterfall to create an instant climbing path. You can alter the daytime by changing out the sun or moon. Replace a stone with wood to transform it into a platform that floats. The best tools for solving Riverside’s challenges are copy and paste. 

In addition to a primary story campaign, you’ll tackle sidequests given by the colorful residents. The world is awash in color and has a fantastic papercraft style. Thankfully, we shouldn’t have to wait terribly long to explore Ruffy and the Riverside since it launches later this year for Switch and PC (with other consoles to be announced later).
