Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered Releasing This Winter

Square Enix has been synonymous with JRPG franchises such as Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts. There’s a less-known series however that has produced some amazing experiences. Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered is launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, PC, and iOS and Android devices this winter. 

Minstrel Song was released exclusively for PlayStation 2 in 2005. Although the visuals have been updated from bit art into 3D, they don’t improve on the extremely bizarre characters. However, fans who never had the chance to experience the series more than 10 years ago can finally test their skill with combat and classes. 

Minstrel song is actually a remake from the Romancing SaGa original released on Super Famicom 1992. Eight adventurers are tasked with stopping the return of the ancient deity of dark to their homeland. 

It Game InformerArchives reveal Joe Juba gave Romancing SaGa the score of 5. He also said the game was among the worst RPGs of the year. It is hoped that the remaster will give it a new lease of life. The Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song remastered is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Switch and PC. It will also be available later in the year on mobile devices.
