Rolling Out Today – Party Chat Noise Suppression and Jump In with Friends

We are excited to keep improving Xbox and bringing you new options. This month’s update introduces a couple more ways for you to connect and play with your friends and communities including party chat noise suppression on Xbox Series X|S consoles and the ability to start a game from a friend’s shared game clip or screenshot on mobile and PC.

Party Chat Noise Repression

You may experience fewer interruptions when you party chat with your Xbox Series X|S console, you may notice fewer unwanted noises and interruptions than before. You can eliminate background noises such as breathing and gamepad clicks from parties by using noise suppression.

It is possible to turn the noise suppression off if you wish to allow background noises such as music, but not all. Scroll down to the bottom of this guide. Parties & chatsSelect Optional. You can disable or enable noise suppression. We’re excited that this feature launches on Xbox Series X|S today, and we’ll be bringing it to more devices soon.

Jump right into a game from your friends’ shared captures on mobile and PC

With link sharing released last year, millions of Xbox gamers can share their screenshots and video clips with each other. The friends with whom you shared your screenshots and game clips can now not only view your captured games, but can also use them to play on their devices with cloud gaming. Cloud gaming requires Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Next time your friend plays a favorite game, you can share an unforgettable moment. Forza Horizon 5, just tap “Play” and start playing directly in a browser, straight from their clip.
