Rocket League Celebrates Seven Years of Soccar with the Birthday Ball Event

Rocket League has been updated and changed many times over the years. Let’s look at some of the most significant milestones the game has had over the years!

• 2015 – The successor to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, Rocket LeagueA massive launch takes you into the stratosphere.

• 2016 – Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) holds its first ever World Championship, with iBuyPower taking the top spot.

• 2017 – Octane goes back to school with the introduction of the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) Spring Series.

• 2018 – South America becomes the fourth region in RLCS, and we launch the first ever Rocket Pass.

• 2019 – Rocket League Joins Epic Games and creates cross-platform party groups.

• 2020 – Rocket LeagueGoes Free to Play, and allows for cross-platform advancement

• 2021 – Sideswipe LeagueLaunches on Mobile Devices, offering high-octane gaming on the move.

Enough about the past; let’s boost into the future! The celebrations begin today with Heatseeker, a crowd-favorite mode where the ball lands on your opponent’s goal. After a week of magnetized matches, we’ll switch to Knockout on July 13! In this 8-player arena free-for-all, you can use unique attack, block, grab mechanics to blitz your opponent out of Arena.

Players can participate in Birthday Ball Challenges during the events to receive rewards. Get the Golden Goat Player Banner or Precious Metal Avatar Border. You will also receive 300 credits.

Black Tie Formal

Anniversaries are only once per year. So get ready to party with the new Item Shop! Players can now purchase the Fancy Formal Fennec Decal for 100 Credits. The bespoke design is inspired by the Octane and Dominus tux Decals. This look will make you celebrate in style. You can complete your black and white ensemble with the Titanium White Fennec.

Players have loved Season 7’s new Gold Painted items, so let’s keep the gilding going! Get the Spyder’s Anniversary Edition Wheels and Top Hat: Anniversary Edition Topper. Both are available in 24k gold glory. Celebrations start July 6.
