Riverdale season 7 will be the show’s last and will air in 2023

Archie Andrews’ adventures with his friends have come to an abrupt halt. Riverdale The CW confirmed that the seventh season will conclude on Thursday. The seventh season is scheduled for 2023, and The CW hasn’t announced how many episodes the season will include.

Riverdale Season 6 is being aired, which began in November 2021. Season 6 is expected to include 16 episodes. It will conclude May 29. According to The CW Riverdale’s seventh season will once again be a midseason series, which means that it should start sometime next winter, just about a year after season 6 premiered.

RiverdaleThe series premiered its first time on The CW, in 2017. It is based upon the Archie comics series. The show has become more absurd, bizarre and funny over time. Over the years, there have been crossovers between the series and other television shows. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina — also part of the Archie-verse — and given its characters superpowers.

The news coincides with the announcement that The CW has cancelled several other shows, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Dynasty, Charmed, 4400, Naomi, Darkness.
