Risk of Rain remake Risk of Rain Returns revealed for Switch and Steam

Original Rain riskIt was developed by a small team made up of student programmers and crowdfunded via Kickstarter. Rain riskChucklefish released the game for Windows PC on 2013 and it went on the win the Best Student Game award from the 2014 Independent Games Festival. Later, the game was ported to Linux and Mac on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox One.
In Polygon’s review of the original Rain riskThe game’s ability to mix difficulty with ease was a major plus. “It mixes together the challenge, randomness and discovery that make roguelikes so endlessly replayable, but in a form that also feels more welcoming,” we said. 3D sequel Risque of Rain II was likewise lauded as “the Mario 64 of roguelikes.”
