Riding Chocobos In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s “Open” World | New Gameplay Today

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has had its curtain lifted in a major way. Marcus Stewart, who has already played it and showcased combat gameplay here (you can also read his review), is now revealing more. Now, the footage below is set in the vibrant grasslands near the city of Kalm and showcases Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s not-quite-open-world gameplay but pretty close to open-world gameplay. The footage below shows some Chocobo soaring, as well as a peek at Red XIII, a quadruped, riding the Final Fantasy bird.
