Rez Infinite and Tetris Effect coming natively to PS5, PSVR 2

The original musical shooter is now available natively on PlayStation 5 Rez InfinitePuzzle game that is both euphoric and fun The Tetris Effect is ConnectedThey will launch in February along with PlayStation VR 2’s launch, Enhance Games announced on Thursday. The games will run at 4K resolution with 60 frames per second, and both versions of the game will be available on PS5. PSVR 2 will also feature new eye controls. Yes you can shoot lasers. RezYour eyes are the best (sort of).

Using PSVR 2’s eye-tracking technology, Rez InfiniteEnhance announced in a press release that players would be able track their enemies and target them using only their eyes. In TetrisEffect: Connexed, players will be able to enter “the Zone” — Additions and Subtractions’s mechanic of slowing down time that lets players rack up line clears that go well beyond the standard four-line Tetris — by closing and reopening their eyes. Perhaps a bit gimmicky. Perhaps, however, it is paired with new haptic capabilities for DualSense controller, PSVR 2 Sense controllers and the headset. Rez InfiniteAnd The Tetris Effect is Connected sound like they’ll be more immersive than ever.

These updates aren’t free, however. Each upgrade to PS5 will set you back $9.99

Rez InfiniteThe original Dreamcast game is now available in a fully remastered edition. The original PlayStation 4 version was released in 2016. Later, it was made available for Windows PC. The Tetris Effect is Connected is a re-release of Enhance Games’ take on classic Tetris, and includes cooperative and competitive multiplayer.

PlayStation VR 2 will be available for pre-order starting February 22. The PS5 headset starts at $549.99 and is available to pre-order from Sony’s PlayStation Direct website.
