Resident Evil Village’s Shadows of Rose DLC will end the Winters’ story
Resident Evil Village’s new DLC, Winters’ ExpansionCapcom claims that, the end of Winters’ family history, will be announced. Capcom director Capcom director Kento Kinoshita told IGN at Tokyo Game Show that the Shadows of Rose portion of the DLC will wrap up the family’s story.
Capcom producer Masachika Kawata declined to comment to IGN about what that future holds, saying Capcom could “absolutely not” talk about the next step for the franchise.
Shadows of Rose: One part of the Village DLC, which will arrive Oct. 28, was set 16 years after events in VillageRose Winters is learning about herself, her unusual powers, and how they came to be there. Ethan Winters — Rose’s father — first appeared in the Resident Evil franchise in 2017’s Resident Evil 7: biohazard Be sure to return for Village. His wife and Rose’s mother, Mia, appeared in both games, too.
It Winters’ Expansion It includes many more features, such as the third-person mode. The Mercenaries mode will get new content with Chris Redfield and Lady Alcina Dimitrescu as playables, along with a multiplayer spinoff, called Resident Evil: The Re:Verse. All of this is coming Oct. 28 as part of Winters’ Expansion.
Resident Evil VillageIt was launched in May 2021 to Google Stadia, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Windows PCs, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
