Resident Evil Showcase Coming Next Month, RE4 Remake Confirmed For PS4

Capcom announced that they will host a Resident Evil showcase in October. This is presumably to talk about Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village’s DLC The Winters Expansion. Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi revealed that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be arriving on PlayStation 4 during Tokyo Game Show. GameSpot. 

Capcom announced Resident Evil 4 Remake during the PlayStation State of Play in June. However, it wasn’t mentioned about older consoles, such as the Xbox One and PS4. It has been confirmed by Capcom that the game will come to PS4 upon its launch, March 24, 2023. However, it is not known if Resident Evil 4 Remake will be available on Xbox One. 

Capcom provided more information about what you can expect from the Winters Expansion DLC Village during Tokyo Game Show via a PlayStation Blog post. 

Tsuyoshi Kanna, Capcom’s producer, writes that “first, I’d love to kick off with the new DLC story, Shadows of Rose.” Ethan Winters was an infant when Rose saved her. His own life was at stake. Rose, 16 years later than the events in the original story and now fighting for survival. It takes place within the Realm of Consciousness of the Megamycete. The realm contains many dangers and monsters. Rose has a small handgun and some ammo. She also needs a first aid medication.

Rose is a poor woman with few resources and must use all her power to free herself from the curse she longs to end. Rose’s unusual talents can help her stop enemies and destroy any obstacles she encounters. Rose can help you target an enemy’s weak points by effectively using her power.

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and Winters’ Expansion, both with the base game and DLC, will become available October 28.
