Resident Evil 4 remake Chapter 12 walkthrough

Resident Evil 4’s 12th chapter follows Leon up to the surface (finally) — a journey he started in Chapter 11.

Our Resident Evil 4 remake Chapter 12 walkthrough will make sure you don’t miss any items from the beginning of the chapter through completing a couple Requests and the Clock Tower.


You will finally reach the surface.

Prior to anything, sweep the platform from which you defeated Krauser. You’ll find a GreenYou can also find out more about a Red herbSome of the boxes are located on the platforms’ sides.

The north-end of the platform is where you will find the elevator. You’ll get a call from Ada on the way.

Turn left after you get off the elevator. There are two Blue Note Requests on the left wall — Jewel Thief The Salazar Family’s Disgrace. Continue on to locate a vase with some pesetas. Visit the Merchant to save on the typewriter

He won’t have anything new to sell and you probably don’t have any treasures to sell, so just repair your knife and Body Armor, and move on.

We will take the cable car (gondola) before we go. Turn to the right, and open the Ballroom door. Turn left to get a Small Key.

Request for the Throne Room

Continue on through the Ballroom to return to Antechamber. Many zealots are waiting to be rescued by spider parasites. Take care of them before you push your way into the Throne Room.

Check the right side of the interior for the Chronicles of Pursuit II With a file and a vase pesetas. To the left smash the crate to get some gunpowder.

Continue up the stairs to reach a Square Lock Box. Turn the Cubic Device down twice to unlock it. Grab a Square Lock Box. Gold Chicken Egg. The Housekeeper’s Memo 2 File is to your left

Grab the handle in the lower right hand corner. Boot KnifeTake the photo and smash it to the right. pesetas. For more, continue to go counterclockwise. pesetas.

Grab the item on the right side of the room. Ramon’s ConfessionYou can also smash and remove the vase to get more pesetas.

Ramon’s portrait is in the northeast corner of the room — to the left of the throne. You can grab one of the egg chickens from nearby. Thetrait to complete the The Salazar Family’s Disgrace Request.

Courtyard request

The following are the Jewel Thief Request, you’ll have to backtrack through the Grand Hall and into the Courtyard.

Continue westward and around the corner, as though you are heading towards the Merchant at the end of the steps. The bird nest you’re looking for is above the doorway ahead of you to the north. Shoot it down, and you’ll pick up the scratched emerald You will find the Merchant on your route.

Sell the emerald to the Merchant to complete the Request (you can also sell that Gold Chicken Egg while you’re here). Continue on to the Ballroom.

Look for the clock tower

Head outside the Ballroom Merchant to ride the gondola across the city to the Clock Tower. For some, you can cut the stem to the right as soon as you reach the Clock Tower. handgun ammo pesetas.

For the best results, climb the steps and smash the vase and crate on your left. Ammo for rifles pesetas. Continue to the north through the large doors. You can continue on the corridor to the circle room, for a short cutscene.

Be patient with those who are envious. Take three barrels of broom to sweep the floor before you go up the steps. handgun ammo pesetas. To find the chest, duck behind the wall to the southwest. Gold bar inside.

Look in the northwest corner for the Clockwork Castellan boxes. 11 from 16.

As you head up the stairs, there’s a barrel on the first landing with more pesetas Another at the top Resources (S).

For more, head left and hit another barrel. pesetas. Look to your left for the lantern. alexandrite.

You can see the huge statue start to breath fire as you move back towards the centre of the room. Retreat to your corner and watch the back of its head carefully — there’s an explosive barrel inside.

To disable the head, shoot it. You can climb up the ladder by going back towards the fiery head. Make a left, smashing the barrels to get more pesetas.

Continue following the walkways and deal with some more zealots before you smash the next barrel. handgun ammo.

Go up the steps. As much as possible, ignore the barrels and zealots. Indiana Jones is coming up the steps to you. Wait for it to end.

Go up the steps again. Grab the pesetasStick to the left and you will be able to catch another spiked ball. Keep heading up.

You can duck into the cage on your right and deal with the zealots. You can smash the barrel to get some Ammo for riflesWait for one more spiked ball. Continue to move up, but stay on the left.

You’ll run into an arbalist in another alcove about the same time the next ball rolls through. For some, smash the barrel. handgun ammo.

Take out the person who is controlling the lever at the top. You will see more zealots ascending the staircase. Throw the lever at them to release one last spiked ball. For some, smash the barrel to your right gunpowder.

Start up the stairs again — they’re blocked, so you won’t get far. Turn left at the gate. To smash the barrel, green herbFor a scavenger hunt, open the chest. Mirror with Pearls & Rubies.

For some, drop off the ledge and smash the barrel to your left. pesetas. For more, head to the right. gunpowder. There’s a chest behind that barrel with an Extravagant Clock inside.

The lever in the center of the floor will raise the lift you’re standing on. Make sure to reload all weapons and get some ammo. On the ride up, you’ll have to deal with a ton of zealots. As you travel, be on the lookout for barrels that explode to aid you.

You’ll also have to watch for the pair of red-robed zealots — take them out as fast as you can to avoid too many plagas popping up.

You can throw the lever at your opponent and push yourself up.

From the top, climb the steps and pass the door. To find the binocular view, follow the walkway to the right. While you’re up here, snipe any zealots you can spot.

Look for the section with the highest scaffolding as you turn the corner. There’s a lantern hanging near the top with a yellow diamond. As you make your way towards it, crouch and cross the delicate boards.

Merchant

Turn left at the end to locate a barrel. pesetas. To find the Merchant Room, you will need to go through this door. For a Merchant room, look to your left.
