Redfall: Release Date and New Gameplay Revealed

You’ve waited patiently, and now that wait is almost over. Arkane Austin’s team announced at the Developer_Direct showcase RedfallLaunching on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2, 2023 — and they announced it alongside over ten minutes of brand-new gameplay, highlighting what’s waiting for you on the titular island.

Danger lurks around every corner and it’s up to you to clean up the streets. You can take on various missions around the globe and confront terrifying vampire underbosses in order to make your town safer. While you’re busy being the friendly neighborhood vampire hunter, you’ll also be gathering intel about the mysteries surrounding the island and its new vampire overlords — intel that will eventually lead you to the vampire gods controlling everything…

Redfall was the perfect picture of Smalltown USA. It is known for its picturesque streets, charming neighborhoods, and breezy boardwalks. But then the vampires came in and destroyed everything. They first eclipsed the sun, and then they rearranged the waters. Then they started turning all the island’s inhabitants into either minions for their army… or food.

Experience RedfallSolo or in a group of up to three, you will face off against the bloodsuckers that hold the island hostage. Arkane-style, you’ll choose the path you take across the island to get past the vampiric masses. Explore a beautifully hand-crafted world packed with detail and shine a light on the island’s darkest corners as you fight to uncover the vampires’ secrets. Pick from a variety of unique heroes and equip them with the customizable weapons found throughout the island. You can do whatever you need to create the ultimate squad of vampire slayers.

Redfall Pre-Order Bonuses & Bite Back Edition Details

Upgrade to Bite Back Edition for the Hero Pass, which includes two future heroes and a Throwback Outfit Pack that contains a custom outfit and backpack (inspired by the lives of their predecessors), a Laser Beam multiweapon skin, as well as the Tactical Knife Stake attachment.
