Redfall cross-play confirmed for Xbox, Steam, Game Pass, and Epic Store

Arkane Studios’ open-world, cooperative shooter RedfallDeveloper confirmed Monday that the product will allow cross-play between platforms regardless of where it is purchased. The developer confirmed Monday that the app will be available on all platforms and wherever you purchase it. tweet from the official Redfall accountThe studio stated that Windows PC users and Xbox Series X players will be able play together regardless of their location: Steam, Epic Games Store or via a Game Pass subscription.

That’s more clarity than Arkane provided in February, through a Discord Q&A, when Redfall developers said “you can definitely play with your friends on Steam friends on Game Pass.” Monday’s statement says, much more definitively, “You can join your friends wherever they are.“ That’s good news for anyone hoping to get a group of four vampire killers together — all platforms grouping up means more potential recruits for a four-player squad.

RedfallThe game will release on Xbox Series X and Windows PC starting May 2nd. The new price of $69.99 will mark the debut Xbox Game Studios title to receive the updated pricing that Microsoft has confirmed since December. RedfallGame Pass will be also available for purchase at launch on Xbox One and PC.
