PS Plus price increase: get your subscription before Sept. 6

Sony has announced that it will increase the price of PlayStation Plus. The service, which allows for online game play, streaming of games, and a monthly free batch of PS5 titles, is set to go up by $10 per year. The company announced the price changes in late August, and today is your final chance to save before the cost goes up Sept. 6 by as much as $40 — that is, if you want the highest Premium tier. This will result in a $20 increase per year for the Essential Tier, which goes from $59.99 up to $79.99.

Amazon allows you to buy the necessary funds digitally. This is a much easier way of subscribing for less money. You can either redeem them on your PlayStation or console via the PlayStation app. Just make sure you use the codes before tomorrow in order to keep your subscription.
