Princess Peach Showtime Hits Switch This March
Nintendo had announced earlier in the summer that Princess Peach would be getting her very own video game. The project was originally called Untitled Princess Peach Game, but today, during the Nintendo Direct broadcast, it revealed the official title: Princess Peach Showtime.
Princess Peach Showtime will be available on Switch in early 2019, March 22. Nintendo shared some new details along with revealing the title and release date of Princess Peach Showtime. Princess Peach, some Toads and the Sparkle Theater went to watch a show. When the Wicked Grapes and Sour Bunch show up, Princess Peach must save the day.
Check it out for yourself in the Princess Peach Showtime trailer below:
With the assistance of Sparkle Theater’s Stella, Princess Peach leaps on stage to defeat the Sour bunch and their leader Wicked Grape. Princess Peach has to go through various plays in order to accomplish this, and she will transform as she goes. As Swordfighter, she wears a Muskateer outfit. She can now use her rapier as Swordfighter Peach to defeat the Sour Bunch, and any other enemy. This is just one of many possible plays.
In today’s trailer, it was revealed Princess Peach is going to become Detective Peach. She will be able to figure out who has been stealing artifacts in a museum. She also becomes Patisserie Peach, in order to track down stolen desserts. And Kung Fu Peach is used to prevent the Sour Bunch taking over a Martial Arts school.
It was only a small taste of what Princess Peach Showtime has in store.
Princess Peach Showtime switches on in 2024, March 22.
