Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Patch Arrives With Bug Fixes, Nintendo Apologizes For Game’s Performance

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet were released on Switch on November 18, 2018. While this game is great at many aspects, technical issues are what make it a struggle. Many bugs and glitches are evident throughout the game. We also noted this in our review. Fans have voiced their disappointment with this part of their Paldean adventures. Nintendo has made a rare confession in the most recent update to the game that they are taking this frustration into account. 

The company tweetedLast night, a new version of Scarlet and Violet’s software was released. The following information is also available: “We value the feedback we receive from our players and will keep working to improve the game.” 

Nintendo further addresses these issues in the actual patch notes for the update too, stating that it is “aware that players may encounter issues that affect the game’s performance.” 

The patch notes stated that “Our goal in all games is to provide positive experiences for players, so we apologize for any inconvenience.” We value the input of players and work to improve the game. 

Here’s the latest version of Version 1.1.0. 

• Season 1 of Ranked Battles begins, and you can enjoy Ranked Battles all over the Battle Stadium. 
  • For more information about Ranked Battle Season 1, please refer to the in-game notice. 
• A problem that prevented the music from playing correctly in battles between the Elite Four or the Top Champion on the Victory Road Path has been resolved. 
• Other bug fixes are also available.

As you can see the patch notes for bug fixes are vague, despite Nintendo admitting to their game’s shortcomings. However, there are numerous fixes.
