Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC brings needed additions to photo mode

Now, the game features a selfie stick that makes it easier to take photos with your Pokémon. With the addition of a selfie stick and other photo options in the game, it is now easier to capture memorable scenes.

Like the Rotom-themed smartphone, the selfie-stick is also called a Roto-Stick. It’s unlocked automatically early in the DLC main quest. You can now take photos from a different angle, and from further away. Instead of having your trainer pushed off to one side, now you can have them centered in the center and shoot flicks from a top-down angle. It makes it easier to take photos with a released Pokémon in the Let’s Go! This feature can be used during a family picnic.

Teal MaskThe photo mode is also altered. Now, you can play music to make your Pokémon do different emotes, or get them to stop moving altogether. That way, even if you want to take a zoomed-in selfie, it’s not so hard to capture Pokémon in the frame of the camera. We also get some new trainer emotes. Overall, it’s not as robust as some other game photo modes, but it does make it easier to wrangle your energetic Pokémon into a coherent and super adorable image.
