Pokémon Go ‘Out to Play’ event, Timed Research guide

Pokémon Go’s latest event, “Out to Play,”Players are encouraged to take advantage of the Zygarde Cells that can be earned by using routes. From September 27 through October 2, the event focuses on Hisuian Grindlithe.

During the event, there’s an increased chance to find Kecleon at PokéStops, tripled XP for finishing a route, and you’ll earn buddy candy faster when walking on Routes.

Additional bonuses will be added to your account. Hisuian Growlithe available for first time in shiny version.

There’s also the usual event perks we see with Pokémon Go events: increased spawns of specific Pokémon, specific egg hatches, Field Research, and Timed Research. Below we list all of the rewards.

The following One-Step Timed Research is free.

Step 1

• Explore 5km (1 Incense).
• Hatch 3 eggs (1,000 Stardust)
• Take a path (1,000 Stardust).
• Walking 1,000m on the route (1,000 Stardust).
• Use Incense to follow a Route (1,000 Stardust).
• Catch 20 Pokémon when following routes (1,000 Stardust)
