Comme one would expect from a Community Day, Noibat There is a good chance that it will appear shiny and spawns in great numbers. There are also several other bonuses and perks, which we’ve list out below.

How can I capture a shiny Noibat

According to research conducted by Pokémon community site The Silph Road, Shiny rates on Community Days are about 1 in 24, which means that if you keep playing throughout the three-hour window, you should find quite a few shiny Pokémon.

If you’re short on time or Poké Balls, you can pop an IncenseYou can then move quickly. Each Noibat can be tapped to check for shiny ones, running from any that aren’t shiny. Notably, any Noibat you’ve already tapped will face where your player is standing, so that should help identify which ones you may have already checked.

What Community Day move does Noibat’s evolution learn?

You can transform Noibat into Noivern anytime between 2 and 10 in your local time. It will then learn the charged move Boomburst.

You can still evolve the move if you missed it in this time period. However, it will be possible to do so during a Community Day weekend event. If you don’t want to wait, you can use an Elite TM to get the move.

What does Noivern do with the meta?

Noivern can’t be used in either PvE or PvP content. This is a shame, as it was once so rare to find.

You will only need three good fighters of flying and dragon types for your PvE content. (Of course, there are other good Pokémon other than these six, but these are the ones that immediately come to mind for raids.)

What can I do to make the most out of Noibat Community Day

These bonus offers will be available on Noibat Community Day

• Tripled Stardust for catching Pokémon
• Doubled candy for catching Pokémon
• Doubled chance for level 31+ trainers to get XL candy from catching Pokémon
• Three hours of incense are enough
• The duration of the lure modules is three hours
• Noibat uses special photobombs to take photos
• An additional trade
• Trading Stardust costs half as much

You should still try to get some strong Noibat, so you can pop an Incense or a Star Piece.

If you can Mega Evolve Charizard, Pidgeot (to any form), Aerodactyl Ampharos Sceptile Altaria Salamence Latias or Latios, you’ll score additional Noibat Candy per catch.

Niantic still offers special four-star raids every day from 5-10 pm. If you can clear the Noibat raid for the 30 minute duration, Noibat will be spawned in a 300-meter area around the gym. You cannot do these raids remotely. If the usual 2-5 p.m. spawn increase doesn’t get you the Noibat you wanted, you can try raiding for another chance.
