Pokémon Go Chespin Community Day guide

Pokémon GoChespin Community Day is being held onJan. 7, 2012, 2-5 pm in your locale time.

Like you would expect with an event like Community Day Chespin There is a good chance that it will appear shiny and spawn in great numbers. There are also several other bonuses and perks, which we’ve list out below.

How can I get a Chespin that is shiny?

According to research conducted by Pokémon community site The Silph Road, Shiny rates on Community Days are about 1 in 24, which means that if you keep playing throughout the three-hour window, you should find quite a few shiny Pokémon.

If you’re short on time or Poké Balls, you can pop an IncenseYou can then move quickly. Each Chespin can be tapped to check for shiny ones, running from any that aren’t shiny. Notably, any Chespin you’ve already tapped will face where your player is standing, so that should help identify which ones you may have already checked.

What Community Day move does Chespin’s evolution learn?

You can transform Quilladin from Quilladin to Chesnaught by changing your time zone between 2 and 10 in the local time. It will then learn Frenzy Plant, a charged move.

It is possible to change it at a Community Day weekend in December if it’s not available. If you don’t want to wait, you can use an Elite TM to get the move.

What does Chesnaught score in the meta?

The PvE raid attacker Chesnaught is an excellent one. While it’s behind picks like Roserade and most legendary Pokémon, it’ll be worth grabbing a strong one for raids. For success, pair it with Frenzy plant and Vine Whip.

Chesnaught is quite good at PvP, and Frenzy Plant makes it more capable of taking down targets across different leagues. You can do serious damage by setting it up with Frenzy Plant and Vine Whip.

All this and more, Niantic will still be running four-star special raids between 5-10 p.m. where, if you complete the Quilladin raid successfully, Chespin can spawn within a 300-meter area around the gym for 30 min. You cannot do these raids remotely. If the usual 2-5 p.m. increase in spawns doesn’t get you the Chespin you wanted, you can try raiding for another chance.
