PlayStation Plus September 2023 games announced: Saints Row and more

PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers’ free games for September 2023 are Saints Row, Black Desert: Traveler EditionThen, Generation ZeroSony has announced this on Wednesday. Downloads of the three PlayStation 5 games and PlayStation 4 titles will begin on Tuesday, 5th September.

Saints Row is Volition’s 2022 reboot of the franchise. Santo Ileso has been added as the setting for this reboot. Saints RowFollows a group of young, disaffected career criminals that take control of the city by sabotaging it or killing people. “If you were a fan of Saints Row 2,The later installments of the series were a bit disappointing. The same goes for the other way around.You should try the aggressively bonkers Saints Row a try,” we said in our review of the game. “It’s still got that comedic series edge, but it doesn’t break the knob off.” Saints RowThe game will be downloaded for PS4 or PS5.

Black Desert: Traveler Edition is Pearl Abyss’ fantasy MMORPG that offers action-based combat, fishing, farming, and PvP siege events — and one of the most extensive character creators in the genre. Black DesertIt is a free game, but you can purchase additional items. Traveler EditionOffers a wide variety of in-game rewards and items. Black Desert: Traveler EditionThe game is only available on PS4.

Generation Zero is Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios’ first-person shooter set in an alternate-universe 1980s Sweden. In this first-person shooter, players must team up with each other to battle robotic invaders in an alternate universe 1980s Sweden. Generation ZeroThe PS5 was released in 2019.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can still pick up August’s PlayStation Plus Essential games —Dreams, Death’s DoorThen, PGA Tour 2K23 — until Sept. 4.

PlayStation Plus Essential is the base tier of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s subscription service that offers online multiplayer access, a monthly assortment of free PS4 and PS5 games, cloud storage, and discounts on PlayStation Store purchases. PlayStation Plus Essential has a price of $59.99 annually. It costs $24.99 if you subscribe for three months or $9.99 if you pay monthly.
