Plague Doctor Action RPG Thymesia Pushed To 2022

Thymesia is an upcoming action-adventure game that puts you in the shoes of the world’s toughest plague doctor who uses diseases-turned-weapons to battle enemies. It was scheduled for launch December 7, and features fast action, RPG gameplay with Dark Souls-inspired vibes. Unfortunately, that will no longer be the case because Thymesia is now arriving sometime in 2022.

Developer OverBorder Studio statesThymesia needs to be razor sharp in order for it to debut at its grand opening, so the company is putting it back in the oven. After only confirming PC, the company announced that the game will be coming to PlayStation 5 (Xbox Series X/S) and Xbox Series X/S.

Thymesia stars Corvus, a plague doctor who’s half-man, half-raven. He’s on a mission to regain his lost memories while also slaying abominations lurking within his gloomy kingdom. Combat is fast-paced and punishing, emphasizing aggression and mobility thanks to a swift dodge maneuver. Corvus has the ability to remove diseases from foes and then turn them into weapons, such as a scythe. Corvus can use his raven body to produce feathers that resemble daggers. Corvus is customizable with multiple character types and different endings. You can see the announcement trailer here.
