Phantom Fury The Next “Boomer Shooter” | New Gameplay Today

Boomer Shooter is the term that describes a genre of video games which are reminiscent of Doom’s era, where first-person-shooters were all about speed and firepower. Phantom Fury was not the first video game to take this path, and likely will not be the last. But playing the demo, it left an excellent first impression. The visuals are cool, the shooting feels good, and protagonist Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison is not afraid to throw out a good one-liner when the mood strikes her.

Phantom Fury will be coming out on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch as well PC this year.
