Phantom Blade 0 Is An Upcoming PS5 Action RPG

Phantom Blade 0, a newly-released entry to the Phantom Blade Series, was unveiled today by Sony during its PlayStation Showcase. A cinematic trailer and a gameplay video were shown. 

Although it’s hard to tell from the trailer what the gameplay will be like, the action-RPG combat is stylish, fast and frenetic. Phantom Blade 0’s YouTube description says that it is inspired by Chinese Martial Arts and Steampunk. You play the Dark Raider in this game, who is out to avenge “The Order.” The voiceover also asks twice a character who is not present what he or she will do in the little time left. Specifically, 66 days. They want to get back their hearts.

Cruel Man Studio in Kowloon Bay is developing Phantom Blade 0 and it’s based out of Hong Kong. The studio has been around since 2019 and so far it’s worked with Square Enix, Tencent.
