Path of Titans Releases Night Stalker Update – Dinosaurs in the Shroud of Darkness

Attention dinosaur enthusiasts! Get ready to experience the ultimate ‘play as the dinosaur’ adventure with Path of Titans‘ Night Stalker Update. Update. This survival open-world game expands the horror of darkness. But you must decide: will you be the terror or stand against it? The Night Stalker The update introduces a chaotic and thrilling nighttime game, where your dinosaurs will master offensive and defensive skills specific to that time of the day.

Alderon Games’ founders are very fond of the mystique surrounding nighttime gaming.  It’s always an ongoing process balancing the gameplay design elements and ability to be the “scarer” or the scared in jump-scare dinosaur encounters, with all the design decisions involved and learned over the years.  Since the very beginning, when the founders started the studio, they have always been concerned with finding a fair balance between all of the different variables. With nine new abilities across over ten  species ranging from ambushing bonuses, poison damage, stacking stamina and damage buffs, enhanced vision underwater, and more, the ecosystem after the sun sets brings new dimensions to the game. The update includes an improvement in the questing system and new animations for seven of 2023’s species. Game balance improvements have been made to the home caves of Gondwa (the large island archipelago) and Panjura (the large highlands forests map).

The concept of the watering hole in the African wilderness at night has been an underlying inspiration for the team, this update will see the water’s edge become much more hotly contested areas. Sarcosuchus is given the new Ambusher ability, which increases the damage of a first-attack when not in combat.

Waterfront will be alive all day long with the addition of Catfish and other new types of fish, as well as new fishing bonuses based on what fish you catch. There are now over 20 NPC animals that roam around the world and can swim.  As you travel through Gondwa, be careful to find these aquatic creatures.

Path of TitansThere are over 30 dinosaur species available to select from. Each server has over 100 players. Two official maps have been created. Build your home cave and start your dinosaur pack to expand your skill and traits. Customize your dinosaur’s appearance with in-game cosmetic skins while roaming the Earth of millions of years ago! And that’s not all; the Modding Community’s creatures and maps are available on community-hosted servers, making the possibilities truly endless.

This update also introduces a new feature called Replay, which allows you to record and replay gameplay sessions in real time.  You can record gameplay and then playback in real-time from an attached cinematic camera. This allows you to create beautiful footage. The depth of field and field of view can be changed, as well as whether or not the camera follows your players.  This tool also works with mods. So, once it is available in the game, be sure to explore all the incredible community content on the modding pages!  The tool will be available soon after Xbox’s Update is released. It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Night StalkerUpdate adds new species abilities, such as Night Stalker and Call of the Night Terrors. Other options include Putrid Scales Ambusher Nictitating Membrane Rough Scales Solar Powered. The abilities are only visible in battle, but they offer unique benefits to the species. Always approach these with caution. We’ll take a moment to point out the Solar Powered ability for Stegosaurus, based on some research about how the Stego used those giant plates on it’s back to regulate body temperature. We’re very excited to let you explore the concept in game.  What impact do the new features and abilities have on gameplay? Mother Nature is the inspiration for the balance concept. With over 30 different species, more are on their way. And each of these species have five levels of growth. The natural world provides various advantages and disadvantages to each playable character, it’s left up to you the gamer, to find a niche and not just grow your dinos, but find out how to thrive within the multiplayer experiences and chance encounters that emerge every time you jump into a new session.  ‘Be the Dinosaur’ is what you make of it.
