Papers, Please is getting a mobile port in August
Indie game You can use paper is coming to mobile — nearly 10 years after its original release. On July 23, Lucas Pope, creator, tweeted that the news was coming to mobile. Pope said that the port will become available Aug. 5 and will require a payment. The minimum supported version of iOS 11 is 11.
You can use paperThe game was first released in 2013. It follows the story of a border patrol officer who is assigned to a fictional country. Players must scrutinize documents and make decisions about who is allowed to cross the border — which slowly builds up to a devastating, emotional story. Original release was on Windows, Mac and iPad. An iPad version came in 2014.
Pope was involved in support and distribution even though he had passed on. You can use paperHe maintained over the years that he didn’t want to create a sequel or follow-up. Instead, he continued to create. Obra Dinn Return, a black-and-white time-traveling murder mystery, and number two on Polygon’s 2019 Game of the Year list.
