Ozark season 4 gets January 2022 release date, new trailer
The fourth and final season of Netflix’s family crime drama OzarkThe streaming service will make the debut in January. To announce the official date, streamer released a teaser trailer on Tuesday. It featured a moody flyover and a voiceover by Jason Bateman.
Netflix first teased the two-part conclusion — the 14-episode final season will be split into seven-episode drops that both air next year — during its Tudum event in September, showing how the Byrde family will contend with its new and, uhh, improved(?) Relationship with the Navarro Drug cartel
Ozark season 4 will also reckon with the traumatic events of last season’s arc, which ended with the deaths of Wendy Byrde’s brother Ben (and son Jonah’s awareness of Wendy’s role in it), and the Byrde’s cartel go-between, attorney Helen Pierce, as well as Ruth Langmore’s split from the Byrdes.
Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, Netflix’s OzarkThe series debuted in 2017 with 10 episodes and gained popularity quickly due to its mixture of organized crime and family drama. Bateman and Laura Linney star as Marty (a husband and wife) money-laundering duo who uproot their families and move to Missouri to work for a Mexican cartel. Multiple Emmys have been won for the series, one each for Bateman and Julia Garner (playing Ruth Langmore).
OzarkSeason 4 Part 1 of Netflix’s season 4 will be available on January 21, 2022
