Oxenfree 2 is set five years after Oxenfree I, released in 2016. Riley returns to Camena where she investigates some mysterious electromagnetic waves. Riley, her friends, and a mysterious group opened an portal over Edwards Island just four hours earlier. They are not sure if they can save the island, but they must. We’ll play around with ghosts of the other side and different timelines. The trailer suggests that we will use a special audio device to do this.

We’ll have to use a walkie-talkie this time around, so we can interact with the locals, and find out more. Oxenfree II : Lost Signals is a great looking game that will be available on PC, Switch and PlayStation 12th, 2023.

Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals had been originally scheduled to release in 2022, but was pushed back last September until 2023. Netflix acquired the developer of the game about a month before the 2022 release date. Read more on what this means here.
