It will run from February 22 through March 8. The Challenge offers the Dusk Reaper skin, which is a much more practical take on his usual assassin’s trench coat, as well as a player icon and a bunch of sprays.

The Code of Violence novella, the latest addition to the Challenge is what really makes this a meaty piece. Reaper stars in this novella, an obscure character that has only been hinted at in-game voices.

Code of Violence instantly begins to gather the mysteries and quickly answers them. What is the nature of Gabriel Reyes’ shadow powers? What was his final showdown with Soldier76 at Overwatch headquarters? Is there a family that he was jealously watching from far during the Christmas comic? What is Reaper’s relationship like with the other members of Talon?

All of these are answered through a short story from Reyes’ point of view, where he and Sombra are sent on a mission to acquire Sigma. Reaper gets distracted by his own self-reflection and is unable to focus on the mission. After all, it’s hard going from being a loving husband and dad who lives in a bungalow in Epic Park, to being a guy who is literally named Reaper and only gets satisfaction out of murder.

Many fans are waiting to hear from the company. Overwatch 2The release of the ‘Frat Boy’ workplace culture is being delayed to 2023.
