Overwatch’s 2022 Lunar New Year Event Kicks Off Today

Overwatch’s annual Lunar New Year event, inspired by the Chinese celebration of the day, kicks off today. Enjoy a couple of events and weekly challenges from now through February 15 to get some new skins.

The Event Brawls feature Bounty Hunter and Capture the Flag Blitz. Bounty Hunter’s game, the Bounty Hunter determines who the Bounty is. All other players must hunt this Bounty. The bounty is claimed by the first player to become the target and so the cycle starts again. Capture the Flag Blitz, a redesigned version of the game where flags can be placed at locations normally reserved for overtime matches. That means they’re much closer together, and you’ll need six captures to win instead of three. You can also play Standard Capture the Flag.

Weekly challenges allow you to win new products, icons and sprays every week. These cosmetics, and their rarities are:

• Seolbim Mercy (Legendary)
• Nezha Tracer (Legendary)
• Prosperity Ashe, (Epic)
• Auspicious Soldier:76 (Epic)
• Porcelain wrecking ball (Epic)

Finally, here are the top prizes for each week of the event:

• Week 1: Prosperity ashe
• Week 2: Auspicious Soldier:76
• Week 3: Porcelain Wrecking Ball
