Overwatch 2’s First Halloween Event Begins Today And Here’s What To Expect

Halloween Terror is Overwatch’s most popular annual event. This featured Halloween-themed skins, rewards for the lootbox system and a special PvE experience. 

Halloween Terror is back in Overwatch 2. This year, the event features skins and rewards. It also includes a sequel to Junkenstein’s Revenge, the original Halloween PvE experience. Overwatch 2’s new PvE experience is Junkenstein’s Revenge, Wrath of the Bride. You can start playing it today (October 25). 

A blog entry about the co-op mission says, “Return to Adlersbrunn along with four other faces to enjoy an all new story as The Bride of Junkenstein seeks justice upon the deaths of her creator.” Complete challenges in order to receive special rewards such as the Nightfall Over Adlersbrunn name card, Jack-o’-Lantern weapon charm, Battle Pass XP and other jaw-dropping rewards. In the original Junkenstein’s Revenge Co-op Brawl Dr. Junkenstein will make a big return, returning only for Halloween Terror 2022. 

Halloween Terror runs until 11:00 a.m. (PT/2 p.m.). ET on November 1. You’ll get the Werewolf Winston Legendary Skin if you stream for two hours on Twitch’s Overwatch 2 Category. If you watch four hours, the spray will be sent to you. 

Blizzard also has a Double Match XP weekend running for Overwatch 2 beginning October 28th and continuing until October 31. Every player who logs in to Overwatch 2 during the Halloween Terror event until the end of Season One, will be eligible for the Cursed Captain Reaper Legendary skin and the Health Pack Weapon Charm.
