Open-world racer Wreckreation coming soon from Burnout veterans

Many racing games offer track editors that fans can use to tweak their game. WreckreationFriday’s announcement will allow players to build or change the course while others drive it. Wreckreation, THQ Nordic and Three Fields Entertainment have announced that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will soon be available for Windows PC and Xbox One.

Wreckreation’s development team comprises veterans of Electronic Arts’ Burnout and Need for Speed series. The game features six different events — “Drift, Air, Near Miss, Stunt, Crash, and […] Time” scattered throughout its open-world map. The MixWorld, as it’s called, lets players design tracks and place jumps, loops, obstacles, and more on the racecourse as an event is taking place live.

Wreckreation will also support an array of car-customization options, plus “its own, old-school FM Radio dial featuring 16 channels.” If that’s not good enough, the game will support Spotify streaming of players’ favorite playlists.

The vehicles do not appear to be licensed or real-world automobiles. Wreckreation The field can be seeded with anything from a backhoe, a cable television van or a modified oldsmobuick police car.

THQ Nordic has not provided any information about a launch date or window but it is possible that the game will release before the end 2022 according to an Amazon listing.

Three Fields Entertainment was created by Criterion founders Alex Ward, Fiona Sperry and their daughter. The studio released a few games including the debut title. The Dangerous Game of GolfCrash-spectacle Driving Games Danger Zone, Danger Zone 2Please see the following: It is dangerous to drive.
