One Piece Odyssey gets new gameplay reveal

Bandai Namco unveils a new look One Piece Odyssey,A new JRPG is based on long-running manga and anime. One PieceThursday. Publisher Bandai Namco revealed new information about the Straw Hats’ next big adventure at Summer Games Fest on Thursday.

In the new footage shared during the Summer Game Fest livestream, the Straw Hats’ ship is launched high in the sky, and the crew must avoid obstacles — eventually making it through the clouds. In brief glimpses of gameplay, we can see characters exploring new locales, in order to crack “hidden mysteries.”

One Piece OdysseyThis is the new JRPG by the makers of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond Shining PearlILCA Inc. and Bandai Namco. Eiichiro Oda created the trailer and it featured a new story and unique character designs. In the first glimpse of the game, Luffy and other Straw Hats found themselves on an island with very few inhabitants. At that moment, characters like Zoro and Usopp as well as Nami and Sanji were shown.

It’s been a big week for One Piece news. Oda revealed that the manga would go on a month long hiatus in order to prepare for his 25th birthday. Netflix revealed Monday that they are currently working on a live-action version of the popular series and shared a fresh look at its production in part of Geeked Week.

One Piece OdysseyThe Xbox Series X is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (Windows PC), and Xbox Series X (Windows PC) in 2022.
