Octopath Traveler 2You will need to transport your characters to the primary. Job altarUnlock an EX Skill They consider it a powerful, useful and unique skill.

You can only learn EX-Skills in the primary job. This means that only Throné can learn Thief EX Skills, and you’ll need to take her to the Altar of the Prince of Thieves to learn it. These skills can only be learned by those who are part of your party.

Each character has two EX Skill, however they cannot learn the second until their entire story is completed.

You can find most of these altars in the level 30 areas nearby where that respective job started, if you’re carefully looking at the minimap as you run about. If you spot the outline of an altar icon with several columns and a flat bottom line at the top, then you should head to it until the door opens.

While some altar entrances can be seen clearly, others may be hidden beneath bridges or in difficult-to-see passageways. We have listed below the locations of all eight job altars. Octopath Traveler 2.

Ochette’s altar location (Altar of the Huntress)

Head down towards this opening at Western Tropu’hopu Traverse to get to the altar.

Ochette learns The Indomitable BeastThis 18 SP move raises her speed, physical attack and evasion by three turns.

Castti’s altar location (Altar of the Charitable)

Castti’s altar is in plain sight in a big temple entrance in Northern Conning Creek Coast.

Castti learns Take drastic measuresThis 18 SP move attacks an enemy with an axe, nullifying their debuffs and status ailments. A move that cancels out more often is more powerful.

Throné’s altar location (Altar of the Prince of Thieves)

Head south from Southern Clockbank Highroad to find a small opening in the river.

Throné learns Veil of DarknessUse the 25 SP Move “Dark Damage” to deal dark damage to your foes. This allows you to dodge any subsequent physical attacks at a 100% dodge rate.

Osvald’s altar location (Altar of the Scholarking)

The entrance to Osvald’s altar is under the bridge in Western Winterbloom Snows.

Osvald learns TeachThe 12 SP move ‘, gives your ally the buffs that you already have for up to two turns.

Partitio’s altar location (Altar of the Trader)

To get to Partitio’s altar, head into this cavern in Southern Crackridge Wilds and go right through a hidden opening.

Partitio teaches Negotiate the SchedulePartitio can pay an enemy with 0 SP to allow him to act in their turn.

Agnea’s altar location (Altar of the Lady of Grace)

Agnea’s altar is in a cave covered by greenery in Northern Wellgrove Trail.

Agnea learns Windy RefrainThe 18 SP move ‘, which deals wind damage all foes. Allies can act on the next turn.

Temenos’ altar location (Altar of the Flamebringer)

Temenos’ altar is actually in the cleric guild, accessible via the door in the back. Borderfall is just around the corner from the church.

Temenos learns Prayer for PlentyA 20 SP skill which restores an entire ton of HP to one ally. This allows for them to overheal beyond their maximum HP.

Hikari’s altar location (Altar of the Thunderblade)

Hikari’s altar is in Eastern Sai Sands. Below is the entrance to the structure’s broken roof.

Hikari learns Ultimate StanceThe 10 SP move ‘, which allows you to use your basic attack against all foes for 3 turns.
