November PS Plus Lineup Includes Knockout City And Kingdoms Of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

PlayStation has announced the PlayStation Plus lineup for November and it’s one of the largest free games offerings for the service yet. 

Three of the six available titles this month are VR exclusives. Knockout City and Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning are the “standard” titles this month. The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall are what you can expect on PSVR. You can add all of them to your PSVR library starting November 2. 

Knockout City was released just this year and it’s coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 for free as part of the PS Plus lineup next month. It’s an online multiplayer game where you play dodgeball across multiple maps while using a variety of abilities and powerups to stay alive and take your opponents out. PS5 will receive First Class Trouble, and PS4 with the PS Plus program. This mystery game for six players is described as social deduction. It assigns four people to Residents on a luxurious spaceship and asks them to stop an A.I. Protected by the Personoids who will be played the remaining two players. They’ll need to deceive the other four players to keep the A.I. To keep the A.I. alive, they’ll need to deceive all four players. Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning is the last non-VR game in November’s PS Plus line-up. Remaster of the 2012 classic title with the same name, this game is only for the PS4, but PS5 gamers will have the ability to play it using backward compatibility. With a story written by R.A. Salvatore and Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, and gameplay designed in part by former Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead designer, Ken Rolston, Kingdoms of Amalur mixes fast-paced third-person action combat with the deep RPG systems you’ve come to expect in the fantasy genre. On the PSVR side of things, you’re getting The Persistence. You will be fighting a dying starship colony in deep space, overrun with mutated crew members that want to murder you. As you climb deeper into the ranks of this now-murderous vessel to repair it (hopefully), you will be able to survive. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is set in the same universe as the Walking Dead, you must fight through the walker-infested ruins of what used to be New Orleans. While you must eliminate dangerous walkers, it is up to you to decide if other people in the world can be trusted or not. Oh, and you have to do it from the terrifying first-person perspective, too, so if plunging an ax into a walker’s head is your jam, you’re in for a good time. What’s especially neat about this title being in the November PS Plus lineup is that It just got a major update, called “Aftershocks” back in August 

The final PS Plus game you’ll be getting next month is Until You Fall. This PSVR sword fighting video game is described as a mix of fantasy and synthwave. You will use mythical locations and magical weapons to defeat your enemies. It’s a hack-and-slash roguelite, too, so you can expect to die a lot…which is always fun in VR! 

Starting November 2, all six games in this series will be free to download. Knockout City; First Class Trouble and Kingdoms of Amalur – Re-Reckoning are available from November 2 through December 6. PS Plus subscribers can access the VR titles up to January 3.
