No Man’s Sky’s Fractal update: New ship and new features get ready for PSVR 2

The first No Man’s SkyUpdate 2023, Fractal is available on all platforms starting Wednesday February 22nd. Fractal includes a variety of improvements, with many of them focusing on virtual reality.

Utopia Speeder can be found in Fractal. It is a starship capable of traversing the planets at high speeds. There’s also a Wonders Catalogue, which shows off a player’s discovery records across planets. The Wonders Catalogue allows players to look back on past planets. This includes looking at strange animals and high places.

Hello Games created virtual reality. No Man’s SkyThe developer is back to update some features with the PlayStation VR 2’s 2019 release. These include more tactile options to fly a ship, grab plants or punch objects and head- and hand tracking. Players will need to remove their Multi-Tools or scan their Analysis Visor.

The Fractal update also overhauls the game’s options for all platforms to include more accessibility features and customization. Versions for PlayStation 4, Steam Deck, Switch and PlayStation. No Man’s Sky also support gyroscopic controls, and Switch players additionally get access to the Nexus and Quicksilver missions as well as the “Trace of Metal” story.

Finally, there’s a new Expedition called Utopia, where players work together to rebuild an abandoned solar system for the enigmatic Utopia Foundation.
