Nintendo Switch Sports adds Wii Sports’ Mii menace Matt
Nintendo declared the end to fair play Nintendo Switch SportsThe company announced that Friday, legendary Wii Sports competitor Matt is now available for players to challenge.
As far as Nintendo has revealed, Matt is a possible opponent in all sports, and is specifically built for players looking for a “tougher challenge.” Of course, previous victims of Matt would expect nothing less. If players want to face the man behind the meme on Switch, they’ll need to input one of two codes at the difficulty-select screen:
- ZR+R+A
- ZL+L+Right
Matt the Mii, a meme popular since 2018, is an old one. But the character is actually much older. He first appeared on Instagram in 2018. Wii SportsIn 2006, he was back. (Matt is also the basis of various speedruns, in which players try to recreate his appearance in the Wii’s Mii Maker.)
Matt was the last boss of the original boxing minigame. WiiSportHe also made appearances in tennis and baseball. Matt had champion status for swordplay in Wii Sports Resort Also. Matt is a joker, but he has a reputation of being very tough and testing those who participated in the championship against NPCs. For many Gen Z gamers, he was like Mike Tyson on the Wii.
