Nintendo releasing new Joy-Con colors in pastel tones

Nintendo is offering Switch users the choice of more muted colors for Joy-Cons with four new shades: pastel pink, pale yellow, light purple and green. Nintendo’s new pastel Joy-Con controllers will be released on June 30, the company announced late Thursday.

The new pastel Joy-Cons appear to be identical — except in hue, of course — to Nintendo’s existing lineup of detachable controllers. The standard price for the pair is $79.99, with the wrist strap included and HD Rumble technology.

Pre-orders of the controllers in pastel colors are now available for Switch owners. Whether they want to replace their Joy-Cons due to a Joy-Con malfunction, or just want to match the rest of the Switch aesthetic with pastel Joy-Cons, these controllers will be available soon. My Nintendo Store currently lists the controllers as sold out. However, expect to see them in other stores soon.
