He now finds himself trapped in a distorted version of his home. Surprised yet intrigued by this, he’ll start a journey to find out where his sister is and what’s going on in this house.

We were motivated by a vision from the very beginning of this project: we wanted to make a video game which not only told a good story but also had a message. Thus, The Night ReverieA world was created. A world inspired by timeless stories like “Alice in Wonderland” or “The Wizard of Oz”, but giving it our own touch of melancholy, wonder, and introspection.

You will meet a variety of inviting characters that are cozy and friendly, but also have intriguing depths. The pixel-art environments are what really make the story come alive. These environments have a dreamy but slightly somber feel that fits in perfectly. We have created a beautiful soundtrack which will guide you smoothly through the twists and turns. It’s all about immersing yourself in this surreal world!

We designed casual puzzles to seamlessly intertwine with the game’s storyline. As Matt, you’ll have the freedom to interact, combine, and examine objects to gather vital clues and discover new items along the way. To add a little extra fun to the game, we’ve sprinkled in a few minigames that introduce new gameplay mechanics. Each interaction will bring you closer to Matt’s final solution, revealing the secret that has puzzled him since the start.

The Night ReverieIt holds a very special place in the hearts of its creators, who were inspired by their own childhood experiences and journeys. Our hope is that the story we’ve woven within the game resonates with you just as profoundly as it did with us. The bond between Matt and his sister is woven into the game, as are their adventures and Matt’s enduring love.
